  Aymestrey School, Worcester

Aymestrey School -  Significant Dates

1909    The school was started by the Asterleys as Aymestrey House, Worcester Road, Malvern Link

1922    Moved to Crown East and became Aymestrey Court

1933    The Mildmays became Junior Partners

1935    Sir died.  The Mildmays became Senior Partners and Dan returned as Junior Partner

1942    Dan married Jean

1948    The Mildmays left

1962    Tief died

1966    Hugh and Gill Griffith took over from Dan and Jean.  Dan continued teaching

1977     Dan retired from teaching

1989    Jean died.  Dan and the school both celebrated 80 years.

1994    Dan died

1998    The school closed.
